Through a curated selection of films and free, community-centered events, the festival explores themes such as social memory, diaspora, food, language, and everyday life&mdash;subjects that resonate deeply in a city like Gainesville, where cultural exchange and storytelling are central to community life. Whether through film screenings, panel discussions, &nbsp;workshops, or performances, the Gainesville Latino Film Festival creates space for connection, reflection, and celebration. It invites audiences to engage with powerful stories that speak to both local and global experiences, enriching Gainesville&rsquo;s cultural landscape and honoring the values at the heart of Latin American film: resilience, identity, and collective memory. <div fr-original-style='font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: auto; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration: none; margin: 0.5em 0px 0px; overflow-wrap: break-word; font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ".SFNSText-Regular", sans-serif; caret-color: rgb(8, 8, 9); color: rgb(8, 8, 9); font-size: 15px;' style='font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration: none; margin: 0.5em 0px 0px; overflow-wrap: break-word; font-family: system-ui, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, ".SFNSText-Regular", sans-serif; caret-color: rgb(8, 8, 9); color: rgb(8, 8, 9); font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5; box-sizing: inherit;'>This event is funded in part by Visit Gainesville Alachua County</div>
