A soft watercolor sky forms the background for the text "Lancement de la campagne annuelle Canopée" and the logo of "Corporation Les Enfants de la Terre" in the foreground.

The mission of our nonprofit organization and its main initiative is to support a forward-looking school where children learn and develop their artistic and social skills, as well as their critical thinking, while interacting with nature in a respectful manner. Your donation will contribute in the following concrete ways:• To support a unique educational initiative;• To advance society as a whole by fostering the development of young people who will become free and responsible citizens;• To support a school driven by a community of parents who are the driving force behind a multitude of initiatives that have a positive impact throughout the region. L’école des Enfants-de-la-Terre is part of the public school network of the Centre de services scolaire de la Région-de-Sherbrooke (CSSRS). Set in beautiful natural surroundings, it serves approximately 200 students from kindergarten through grade 8. Today, there are more than 3,000 schools based on the Waldorf educational approach, in over 70 countries, across every continent! L’école des Enfants-de-la-Terre is part of this vast global movement of schools that share a non-denominational educational approach recognized by UNESCO since 1994. Your donation to the Campagne Canopée 2026-2027 directly supports the Corporation in its mission to promote the development of Waldorf education at L'ÉCOLE DES ENFANTS-DE-LA-TERRE, to provide young people with safe, green, and stimulating spaces to learn, play, and recharge. Every contribution helps maintain the services offered to our children and even paves the way to improve our school and help it progress. Our mission: Ensure the continuity and richness of the Waldorf pedagogy in Estrie for all our students. The objective: To bridge a revenue gap of at least $50,000 caused by the new funding model. The change: Since July 2026, the Centre de services scolaire de la Région-de-Sherbrooke (CSSRS) has been leasing the facilities of the Corporation (buildings and land), which still owns the premises. The impact: As parents no longer have to financially support the school's infrastructure but the rent amount is lower than the revenues from previous years… a deficit is growing. The challenge: The richness and specificity of our particular Art-Nature project now largely relies on the self-funding of the Corporation. Flexibility: Donations can be spread monthly through automated withdrawals or paid in a single annual payment. Tax advantage: As a non-profit organization, the Corporation will issue official receipts for charitable donations. Thank you very much for choosing the amount and frequency that corresponds to your reality!
