An abdominal ultrasound is scheduled for August 21 to investigate the cause, including ruling out internal bleeding. On August 27, Sasha will return to emergency care for repeat bloodwork and another wound assessment. 🧠 Severe unexplained back pain. This pain existed before her wound. A spinal condition, including a possible herniated disc, has been considered, and an MRI will now need to be added to her investigations. By Friday, we will have exceeded $2,500. After her next follow-up, we will likely exceed $3,000. 🎯 GOAL: $5,000 This will cover the care already provided and the next diagnostic steps: ultrasound, bloodwork, wound follow-ups and MRI. Unfortunately, this $5,000 will essentially only get us to the diagnoses. If the ultrasound or MRI reveals the cause of her problems, we will then need to fund the necessary treatments.
