In January 2027, 28 deaf and hard-of-hearing athletes, will have the opportunity to step onto the world stage, and represent Canada at the Winter Deaflympics in Austria. From cross-country skiing to curling and ice hockey, our athletes are ready to shine in sports deeply rooted in our Canadian winter culture and DNA. On snow and on ice, they’re ready to show the world where winter champions come from. But before they can chase victory, they have to face another challenge: getting there.  To help make this delegation a reality, the Canadian Deaf Sports Association (CDSA) needs to raise $75,000. That’s where you come into play. Your donation helps cover the essentials that get our athletes to the starting line: plane tickets ✈️, accommodation 🏨, uniforms 🎽, registrations, and equipment for each athlete! Donate today, receive an official tax receipt, and help our winter champions get to Austria and proudly represent our country. 🇨🇦 Victory is in your hands. ✌️ - 📣 If you represent a company or foundation: know that a partnership with CDSA is a strong gesture in favor of inclusion and diversity. 🇨🇦 Support our Canadian athletes towards the 2027 Deaflympics in Austria.

We're Team Canada's deaf hockey team, and in January 2027, we're heading to Innsbruck, Austria — a historic return to the city where the Winter Deaflympics were born, nearly 80 years ago. We're 25 athletes (22 skaters and 3 goalies), backed by 9 coaching and support staff, who've been preparing since summer 2026 with one goal in mind: to represent Canada with excellence, integrity and a genuine pursuit of international podium success. We train just as hard, compete just as fiercely, and dream just as big as any other national team. What we've lacked is the infrastructure to match.  Before we can chase victory, we have to get to the ice. With the Canadian Deaf Sports Association (CDSA), we need to raise $10,000 to get our team there. That's exactly where you come into play! Your donations, big or small, help us cover the essential costs of getting to the competition: ✈️ plane tickets to Austria 🏨 accommodation on-site 🎽 uniforms 📋 registration fees 🏒 equipment, training, and other competition-related expenses. Donate today (you'll receive an official tax receipt through CDSA) and help us get to Austria to proudly represent our country. 🇨🇦 Victory is in your hands. ✌️ --- 📣 If you represent a company or foundation: partnering with us, through CDSA, is a strong gesture in favor of inclusion and diversity.
