ROWING FOR ME! Discovery of crewed rowing The training will allow the discovery of the sport of rowing on a theoretical level. They will include periods of physical preparation (warm-up at the beginning, stretching and cooling down at the end), practices on the water (dissecting the leg-back-arms/arms-back-legs movement), activities to get the rowers moving in a playful way in order to develop their sense of confidence and to establish good communication with the coach who coordinates the activity on the water and the volunteers/facilitators who accompany the participants. All stakeholders will receive the ASAQ's Sports Counsellor and Visual Impairment training. At the end of the indoor component, a social activity (dinner and rowing speaker) will take place at the Lachine Rowing Club with a session on the water. Ils comporteront des périodes de préparations physiques (échauffement au début, étirement et refroidissement à la fin), des pratiques sur l'eau (décortiquer le mouvement jambes-dos-bras/bras-dos-jambes), des activités pour faire bouger de façon ludique les rameurs et rameuses afin de développer leur sentiment de confiance et d'établir une bonne communication avec l'entraineur qui coordonne l'activité sur l’eau et les bénévoles/animateurs qui accompagnent les personnes participantes. Tous les intervenants recevront la formation intervenant sportif et la déficience visuelle de l'ASAQ. À la fin du volet en salle, une activité sociale (souper et conférencier sur l'aviron) aura lieu au Club Aviron Lachine avec une session sur l’eau.
