artch invites families to come and get creative at an art workshop led by LIVART! Designed for children (ages 6 to 12), this workshop invites participants to explore the concepts of hybridity, transformation, renewal, assemblage, and creation through works on display in the gallery (Scorli, Marjorie Labrèque-Lepage, Laurent Viau-Lapointe et Janna Elizbarova). A brief guided activity will help participants observe how artists transform shapes, materials, and objects to create new realities. Children will then be invited to create their own fabric avatar by assembling scraps of secondhand fabric. By transforming and combining these existing materials, they’ll be able to bring to life a unique character—one that reflects their own image or is entirely imaginary. This workshop is offered in French.
