The St-Lawrence Adventure Race will take place on May 18, 2025, around Rimouski (QC). Teams will cover about 70 km on foot, by mountain bike, or by kayak on an unmarked course, navigating with maps and a compass. This event is for those looking to discover the sport or for athletes seeking a shorter-duration challenge. Several checkpoints will be optional so that each team can select a difficulty level that matches their goals. The course will remain secret until the day before the race.Teams of 2 – men, women, or mixed.The number of teams will be limited to 24. The cost per team is $375 + taxes. This fee includes, among other things: transport for your gear bins, bikes, and kayak (if required), kayak rental, course design and maps, and a post-race meal.Note that a mountain bike is required. Tires must be at least 2 inches wide. Bikes with tires narrower than 3 inches must have a minimum suspension travel of 100mm. Les équipes traverseront environ 70 km à la course à pied, en vélo de montagne ou en kayak, sur un parcours non balisé, en s’orientant avec cartes et boussole. Cette épreuve s’adresse aux personnes qui souhaitent découvrir le sport ou aux athlètes désirant un défi d’une durée plus courte. Ainsi, plusieurs points de contrôle seront optionnels afin que chaque équipe puisse choisir un niveau de difficulté correspondant à ses objectifs. Le parcours demeurera secret jusqu’à la journée avant la course. Équipe de 2 - hommes, femmes, ou mixte. Le nombre d'équipes sera limité à 24. Le coût par équipe est de 375$ + taxes. Ce coût inclut notamment: le transport de vos bacs, des vélos et du kayak (si requis), la location d’un kayak, la conception du parcours et des cartes et le repas d’après-course. Notez qu’un vélo de montagne est requis. Les pneus doivent avoir un minimum de 2 po de largeur.
