Everything we do is at no cost to the community so it is imperative that we secure yearly funding so we can focus on walking beside those in need when they need us. In addition, we hold a parents support group the second Wednesday of each month. We also provide classes such as suicide prevention, Teen Mental Health First Aid, and In's and Out's of IEP/504's. We've also brought in speakers from Gwinnett County Police Departments Behavioral Response Team and SWAT negotiation to describe what they face not only on the streets and in homes, but also on the job themselves. The May 2024 - May 2025 Budget is $25,000.This budget is what is needed to just keep the doors open, lights on, and bare essentials at the Resource Center.Our main fundraiser will be held the beginning of May each year to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Month. Can you help us by donating monthly or yearly? $10/month? $50/month? $100/month?Please share far and wide.
