Newark Music Boosters and NMHS Music Director Juan Castaneda are looking to build toward the 2023-2024 school year.   Our current 2023-24 plans include:- Marching Performance in Santa Cruz in the fall of 2023- Performance Music Festival in spring of 2023 (band and choir)- Trips to 2 universities to be taught by university conductors (band and choir) We typically raise funds for the band to travel (along with feeding the students), maintenance of equipment and buying new equipment for recording.  We also fund awards and scholarship for graduating seniors.
