Sandy Creek High School is synonymous with victory. The school is known for its high-achieving students and athletes. Football has put the school on the national map. To name a few: Brian Branch (Detroit Lions), Andrew Gardner (Texans), Kedric Golston (Washington), Jabari Holloway (Patriots), JR Lemon (Raiders), Rajion Neal (Packers), Riley Swanson (Bills), Mike Hilton (Cincinnati Bengals),  to Megatron himself, Calvin Johnson; the school produces winners. The first place those wins are shared is on the scoreboard. Although the football legacy beats strong, the scoreboard is weak. It's time to rally to revive this critical piece of equipment to meet the excellence of the team it represents.  It's about more than football. The new digital scoreboard will generate ad revenue allowing the academics and facilities to keep their competitive advantage. An investment in this scoreboard is for present and future students while honoring a legacy. Two of Sandy Creek's biggest fans are no longer with us. Mickey Littlefield, who proudly chaired the Fayette County School Board and his beloved son, Matthew Littlefield.
