We are on a grand adventure to remember and honor our Dads, Granddad’s and Uncles who served in the 69th DRS (Depot Repair Squadron) during WWII. The 69th Association has been given an opportunity to help save history and carry it into the future. The Chennault Aviation Museum and Park includes a restoration hanger. This is like Santa’s workshop for big folks to restore all types of aircraft and vehicles out of almost nothing. A team of volunteers undertakes these heroic tasks. This team stands on the shoulders of the 69th DRS, the WWII squad who served in China and created miracles from whatever there was to "keep ‘em flying!" Once our $200,000 goal is accomplished this restoration hanger will be named:  Flying Tigers 69th DRS Restoration Hanger.  The naming rights will remember and honor the mechanics and ground crews of the 69th. As well acknowledging those ‘Maintainers’ who have followed to keep the aircraft flying. Your donation will go toward the naming rights and purchase of equipment and supplies to become a part of taking history into the future.
