Avanti Therapeutic Projects is an umbrella organization that includes not only Camp Avanti, but also a wider space to support other projects. A founding value of Avanti Therapeutic Projects is promoting the advancement of the field of pediatric occupational therapy by providing spaces for practitioners to come together, learn from and with another, develop new ideas and ways to approach therapy, and push the boundaries to promote healing and growth. Camp Avanti is a unique summer camp program that combines an engaging environment with intensive Occupational Therapy using Sensory Integration treatment. &nbsp;This model therapeutically enhances the camp environment and culture to facilitate growth and development for the participants. &nbsp;Campers participate daily in a broad range of activities planned for fun and therapeutic benefit. &nbsp;The small group dynamic of Avanti provides a safe environment for the camper to seek out challenges and be empowered. &nbsp;For many Avanti campers, a typical camp setting is out of reach. &nbsp;The therapeutic nature of Camp Avanti makes it possible for these individuals to have a successful camp experience. &nbsp;Who doesn&#39;t want to go to summer camp, make new friends, and belong?
