Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors—and a $4,027 grant from the Indiana Historical Society—we’re making big progress on restoring the iconic 1950s Barbershop on Main Street! This living exhibit sat untouched for decades after it closed unexpectedly in the 1980s. Its shelves, tools, and charm remain frozen in time—but the building itself needs our help. We’ve already restored the HVAC, electrical, and exterior. Now we’re tackling the biggest challenge yet: repairing and replacing the checkerboard floor that thousands of visitors will walk across in years to come. We’re more than halfway to our $18,000 fundraising goal. Will you help us get the rest of the way?Your donation helps us preserve the charm, stories, and spirit of small-town Indiana.🧡 Thank you for being part of our community’s history. <img src="https://res.cloudinary.com/hxn9dbuhd/image/upload/v1750864762/wysiwyg/mgosbgbwmntuqehbtxkx.jpg" style="width:409px;display:block;vertical-align:top;margin:5px auto;text-align:center;padding:0px 1px;max-width:100%" />Our progress as of June 2025.
