Alter Justice est fier de vous présenter son évènement annuel, Artis Judiciali. Artis Judiciali a été créé afin de sensibiliser les citoyen(ne)s de la ville de Québec à la (ré)intégration sociocommunautaire des personnes judiciarisées. Par personnes judiciarisées, on fait référence aux personnes ayant eu ou qui ont encore des démêlés avec la justice criminelle. La participation des personnes judiciarisées à la vie commune en consolide la sécurité et contribue à éviter qu’il n’y ait de nouvelles victimes. Et dans cette optique, l’art peut s’avérer un médium salvateur. L’expression artistique permet de s’adapter à l’enfermement social ou réel en trouvant un refuge face à la solitude, le désespoir, les idées noires ou encore d’explorer son plein potentiel intérieur. Ainsi, Alter Justice estime que les œuvres des personnes judiciarisées ayant entrepris un processus de (ré)insertion sociale doivent être mises de l’avant afin de sensibiliser la population de la grande région de Québec aux divers enjeux avec lesquels elles doivent composer au quotidien. Ils et elles ne pourront que constater qu’une personne judiciarisée ne se définit pas uniquement par ses actes criminels passés et qu’elle peut revêtir plusieurs rôles : parent(e), collègue de travail, voisin(e), ami(e), conjoint(e). La Semaine de la (ré)habilitation sociale (15 au 19 octobre 2024) permet de sensibiliser les citoyen(ne)s que derrière le crime, se cache une personne. L’évènement aura lieu le 17 octobre 2024, au format 5@7, au Théâtre Périscope. D’ici là, tu pourras voir notre site web et nos pages de réseaux sociaux se transformer pour cette 6e édition!
