BMAR’s Transport leaves May 7th for the May 10th transport….and we have the “big bus” FULL of adopted dogs!  We need help…we are always short on funds. We have $1000 covered of the $3000 needed for fuel.We have zero covered for the $800 needed for the additional handler (driver is free)We have the potty pads and cleaners covered as well as the travel Fresh Pet foods.We are short $4000 on the broker/border fees… we have the rest covered.  There are a lot of dogs going (thankfully).We have ALL the vet exams & health certificates covered so far. If you think adoption fees cover this….you are so misguided.   We go in the red every transport. Those fees don’t come near covering what we have already spent on these dogs.   The bad part is that it costs a fortune to rescue dogs.  The good part is that all these lucky babies are going to some pretty fantastic people and their happy ever afters! We will be running raffles to chip away at that fuel bill.   But the broker fees have us really worried.  We pay them or our dogs don’t get across. Simple.
