Thanks to your support, we were able to give Charlie the very best care &mdash; around-the-clock medication, advanced diagnostics, and so much love. Sadly, despite our efforts, the disease progressed quickly. Then, Charlie began letting us know he was ready to stop fighting. We made the difficult but compassionate choice to help him pass peacefully, surrounded by love. We did everything we could for Charlie, and he knew he was deeply loved. But now,&nbsp;we still need help covering the $12,500+ in emergency and specialty care costs from his fight &mdash; a cost we took on without hesitation, because Charlie deserved every chance.
