We are starting a new program to bring sea turtle education to New England schools, free of charge! We are working with Inwater Research Group to procure a Sea Turtles To Go Outreach Trunk that will provide supplies and lesson plans designed to teach K-12 students about sea turtle research and rescue. Trunks are built to order, and they include things like model turtles and skulls, measuring supples, and everything needed for a fun, hands-on lesson! An anonymous donor has generously offered to match up to $1,000 toward the purchase of this trunk, which costs $2,000 plus shipping.
