Dear Friends of Alliance Française de Berkeley, For years, our kitchen has been a place of connection, conversation, friendship, and, of course, delicious French workshops. But after decades of service, it’s time for a full makeover—and we need your help to bring it back to life!As part of this renovation, we are upgrading our electrical system to meet the latest safety standards and create a more energy-efficient future. Our goal is to build a more functional, ADA-compliant kitchen with a better layout and eco-friendly appliances—everything from floor to ceiling! The restrooms adjacent to the kitchen will also be completely refurbished.To make this transformation possible, we’re launching a fundraising campaign of $83,285. Thanks to the dedication of our board, we’ve already secured $13,000, leaving us with $73,285 to raise.
