A detailed site plan with a body of water and shoreline in the foreground, and a network of roads and green spaces within a development labeled "EASTERN WOODS" in the background.

There is a proposed development on Benoir and Elephant Lakes which could have severe detrimental effects downstream on Baptiste Lake. While the request now is for approximately 63 housing units, the developers website envisions a total development of 1,271 housing units. Baptiste Lake Association has been given party status at the Ontario Land Tribunal where the project is being considered after having been denied by Haliburton County and Dysart et al Municipality. As a party to the proceedings the Baptiste Lake Association has hired a lawyer to represent its interests at the hearing. Please donate towards the legal fees so that the Baptiste Lake Association can afford the best legal representation possible. How you can help power our mission:

Donate: Help offset legal costs that are currently being covered by a group of volunteers who have the best interests of the lake in mind

Share: Share our story and campaign with your neighbours, friends, family, and on social media. Your advocacy can amplify our impact.
