4B Harm Reduction Society promotes health and well-being through harm reduction strategies, providing resources and support for marginalized communities, particularly LGBTQ+ individuals, to foster safety, creativity, and empowerment.

Angie’s 50th Birthday Bash

Come celebrate queer joy, creativity and community at the book launch of RAW: An Edmonton-Based Queer Works Anthology.&nbsp; Enjoy a gallery of curated, interactive and immersive works, as well as bold readings from contributors of the anthology. Followed by the dynamic and stirring music of Nick Lara and Emma Bittner. Become inspired by the featured works as you create your own buttons and customize your own tote bag! Support the event and the featured creatives by purchasing their work for sale, as well as copies of the Anthology.&nbsp; Raw Anthology copies will be $12! We are proud to have words and resources from 4B Harm Reduction Society, Magpie Books, Rainbow Story Hub, and On-Site Placement. Some resources that will be available are HRT kits, a binder program, information on a free youth (16-30) program, stickers, safe sex supplies, how to contribute your story to Rainbow Story Hub, and more!&nbsp; This event is all ages, however alcohol will be sold on the premises and there is some explicit language present in works and readings. &nbsp;&nbsp;

RAW Queer Anthology Release Party

The need for grassroots harm reduction grows, as funding for public programs and healthcare is gutted by the province. Out of pocket costs continue to increase but that won&#39;t stop us. Drug Users deserve access to harm reduction supplies, they deserve access to wound care, they deserve to outlive this war on drugs. Grassroots action is motivated by seeing needs and doing everything in your power to fill them. This requires the commitment to pivot as needs change and grow. Through the years, that&#39;s exactly what 4B has done. We&#39;ve continued to expand the scope of our work as we&#39;ve seen more and more needs to fill.&nbsp; We have been running on volunteers pitching towards the costs each month, with about 1/4 of our budget coming from donations each month. To continue building upon our work we need to increase our donation to cover costs fully each month.&nbsp; We are aiming to raise funds for the next 3 months of outreach &amp; educational events, plus 1 month of extra funds to rebuild our cushion funds.&nbsp; Thank you for supporting us, we can&#39;t do this without you.

Something we can carry large amount of supplies and possibly offer a space for warming, drug checking, wound care, etc💜 Your donation keeps our community-led team &mdash; many with lived and living experience &nbsp;on the road providing low-barrier, judgment‑free support, grounded in radical acceptance and mutual aid.
