🎉 Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary! Ms. Nettie Washington Douglass is the great-great- granddaughter of Frederick Douglass and the great-granddaugter of Booker T. Washington. As the "heir of two great Americans," she is the first person to unite the two bloodlines through the union of her mother, Nettie Hancock Washington (granddaughter of Booker T. Washington), and her father, Dr. Frederick Douglass III (great-grandson of Frederick Douglass). Her lineage is incredible and the story of how she has represented these legacies since she was a child is equally fascinating. This event, the first of 12 in the series, is like no other! You need to be there! 🎉 Every registration to this event allows children and teens, 18 and younger, to attend for free, and brings us closer to our mission: Community Collaboration, creating conversation through innovative, public education. Thank you for supporting our mission, your support is invaluable.
