7/20 Memorial Foundation

The 7/20 Memorial Foundation honors victims of the July 20, 2012 theater tragedy by fostering healing and community through remembrance events and initiatives like the Paper Crane Peace Project, promoting hope and support for affected individuals.

Inspired by the Paper Crane Peace Project, these charms carry forward a legacy of love&mdash;reminding us that even the smallest act of kindness can reach someone who needs it most. Resilience Charm Campaign - Supporting Community Healing

The 7/20 Memoiral Foundation would like to thank you for your interest in participating in our annual Day of Resilience. This event brings our community together to honor, connect, and support healing through shared experiences, art, and meaningful engagement. Vendors and food partners play an important role in creating a welcoming and vibrant environment for all attendees. We are grateful for your participation. Event TimingVendors are asked to be set up between 6:30 - 7:30 AM, as attendees will begin arriving around 7:30 AM.We&rsquo;ll have volunteers available to help with setup and getting you settled as well as helping you to tear down after the event which will end at noon. Please complete the information below and submit your payment to reserve your space.

2026 Day of Resilience – Vendor Registration & Payment

We invite local breweries to join us for the Day of Resilience, a community event centered on healing, connection, and coming together in support of one another. As a participating brewery, you&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to share your craft while supporting a meaningful cause and engaging with a purpose-driven community. To participate or donate, please select &ldquo;Add a Ticket&rdquo; below and complete the requested information. Donation documentation:The 7/20 Foundation is a registered nonprofit organization. We are happy to provide donation acknowledgment letters or zero-dollar invoices upon request for tax purposes. Sponsor a chalk art square&nbsp;Support healing through art by sponsoring a chalk art square at the 7/20 Memorial Foundation&rsquo;s Day of Resilience event.This year&rsquo;s theme,&nbsp;Healing Out Loud, invites artists and community members to express hope, resilience, connection, and healing through live chalk art. Sponsors will have their logo displayed on a small sign beside a featured chalk artist&rsquo;s square &mdash; a meaningful way to show community support while gaining visibility at the event.Your sponsorship helps support community healing programs, remembrance efforts, and resilience-centered events led by the 7/20 Memorial Foundation.

The 7/20 Foundation is hosting a welcoming open house dinner for survivors, their loved ones, and community supporters before the Midnight Vigil. Come as you are, stay as long as you&#39;d like, and be part of a supportive community. The gathering will be held at Six Capital Brewing, where AJ&#39;s Haze&mdash;the annual commemorative beer brewed in honor of AJ Boik by his family&mdash;will be available. A delicious buffet-style barbecue dinner, lovingly prepared by Pitmaster Blake and crew, will be served from 6:00&ndash;8:00 PM.Registration is requested, but not required, to help us plan accordingly. Donations are always appreciated and help us continue offering meaningful gatherings like this.We hope you&#39;ll join us.

July 19th Annual  Survivor & Supporter Dinner

This free event invites you to raise a glass to community, resilience, and hope&mdash;thanks to our amazing local brewers who make it all possible! For those 21+, a $35 donation gets you a wristband for unlimited beer tasting. Prefer to stay sober? Enjoy handcrafted mocktails and NA beer in our dedicated sober space, proudly hosted by Overhang Co. The 7/20 Foundation is hosting a welcoming open house for survivors , their loved ones, and community supporters before the midnight vigil&mdash;come as you are, stay as long as you like, and be part of a supportive community. &nbsp; This year&rsquo;s gathering will be hosted at Six Capitol Brewing and will also celebrate the launch of this year&rsquo;s AJ&rsquo;s Ale.Brewed each year by the family of AJ Boik in his honor, a portion of proceeds from every pint will support the 7/20 Foundation. A delicious buffet-style barbecue dinner, lovingly prepared by pitmaster Blake and crew, will be provided from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Registration is requested , but not required, so we can plan accordingly. &nbsp;Donations are always welcome and appreciated, and will help us continue to offer gatherings like this.We hope to see you there.

JOIN US FOR CRANES &amp; COMMUNITY Join us as a Paper Crane Peace Maker, where we gather in community to fold cranes, connect with one another, and share quiet moments of remembrance and hope. Inspired by the tradition of paper cranes as symbols of peace and healing, each crane folded honors those affected by the July 20, 2012 tragedy in Aurora and continues the community tradition of cranes that have become part of the <a fr-original-style="" href="https://www.7-20memorial.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">7/20 memorial story</a>. 🕊️ During this time, we&rsquo;ll fold paper cranes and also work on several meaningful projects that help share messages of remembrance and peace, including:&bull; <a fr-original-style="" href="https://www.7-20memorial.org/paper-crane-peace-project" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Paper crane wreaths</a> that will be sent to other communities affected by tragedy&bull; Paper crane peace charms that can be shared as small symbols of healing and hope No experience is needed &mdash; we&rsquo;re happy to teach anyone how to fold cranes. This is meant to be a relaxed, welcoming space where people can contribute, connect, and be part of something meaningful. Feel free to stop by for a few minutes or stay the whole time, and you&rsquo;re always welcome to bring a friend.
