Nebraska Aces Flight School 2026

The Nebraska Aces Basic Fighter Maneuvers Course is an advanced hockey development program built around one of the most important skills at higher levels of the game: Hockey IQ.Winning battles isn’t just about being stronger, faster, or more aggressive. It’s about reading the play, anticipating what happens next, understanding your options, creating and taking away space, supporting teammates, and making smart decisions under pressure. That’s why each BFM session begins before players ever step on the ice.✈️ 1 Hour Classroom — Learn the Game Players will break down hockey concepts, positioning, reads, puck support, offensive and defensive options, and the why behind the decisions they’ll be asked to make.🏃 1 Hour Dryland — Read + React Players will take those concepts into movement-based exercises designed to reinforce awareness, communication, reaction, spacing, decision-making, and working with a teammate.🏒 On-Ice BFM — Put It Into Action Players will apply what they learned while focusing on edge work, gap control, body positioning, puck protection, support, small-area battles, and compete level. The goal isn't simply to teach players how to win a puck battle. We want them to understand where the battle is developing, why it matters, what their options are, and what they should do next.Led by experienced Aces coaches Tim Smith and Nick Rosso, Basic Fighter Maneuvers brings the Aces aviator theme to the details that separate skilled players from smart, effective hockey players. Open to players ready to think faster, compete harder, support their teammates, and take the next step in their game.
