Adaptive Crossroads Inc. builds an accessible community center in Omaha to support individuals with developmental and physical disabilities, and seniors through inclusive programming, adaptive fitness, and life-skills education, fostering growth and connection.

Adaptive Crossroads is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit creating inclusive opportunities for people of all ages and abilities, with a special focus on individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. Our programs are already happening. Through art, cooking, communication, life skills, wellness, social opportunities, and community-based experiences, we are creating places where people can learn, grow, build independence, make friendships, and belong. Now, those programs need a home. Our next step is opening the Adaptive Crossroads Community Center in Omaha in 2027&mdash;a welcoming, inclusive space designed around the people and families we already serve. We are intentionally starting small and building responsibly. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to help secure, furnish, equip, and prepare our first Community Center. From tables and technology to art supplies, kitchen equipment, books, games, sensory resources, and the everyday things that turn a building into a place people want to be, every donation helps build something real. This isn&#39;t just about opening a building. It&#39;s about creating a permanent place for opportunity, connection, independence, and community. Whether you give $25, sponsor part of a room, donate needed items, or help us spread the word, you&#39;re becoming part of the story. One day soon, we want our entire community to be able to walk through those doors and say:&ldquo;We helped build that.&rdquo;
