AfterWork Theater believes in this fundamental truth: When a person experiences live theater, it sparks something new and exciting. We have witnessed that spark manifest in a number of ways:Building lifelong, meaningful relationshipsFinding a new skill or talent or feelings of pride within themselvesWidening their community to include folx they might never have met otherwiseGenerating empathy for other lived experiencesBringing that spark into their communities outside of AWT, allowing it to bloom in othersWe work every day to remove barriers that might prevent someone from taking part in this experience with this very special community.
