Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,Al-Huda is raising funds to support NL Islamic School and its vision of providing children in Newfoundland and Labrador with an education rooted in academic learning and Islamic values.Based in St. John’s, NL Islamic School brings together the provincial curriculum with Qur’an learning, Arabic, and Islamic studies. Its mission is to nurture students who are confident in their faith, strong in character, and prepared to contribute positively to society—with integrity, compassion, and respect for others. This initiative has already taken meaningful steps forward. In September 2025, approximately 20 students in Grades 1–5 were participating in its full-time homeschooling program at a temporary location near downtown St. John’s. The school’s published development plan outlines a longer-term vision for a permanent home that would eventually serve students from Grades 1 through 12.Through this fundraiser, we invite our community to help support that vision: a lasting place where children can pursue their education while strengthening their connection to the Qur’an, their faith, and their community.Every contribution, large or small, is a meaningful expression of support for the next generation. Please donate generously and share this campaign with family and friends.May Allah reward your generosity and place barakah in this effort.
