With the university semester wrapping up, we&rsquo;re about to launch an initiative to get Alberta&rsquo;s next generation thinking biblically about the public square. We are opening up an essay contest for students (ages 16&ndash;24) to tackle the implications of Bill C-9. We aren&rsquo;t looking for generic opinions; we&rsquo;re requiring them to ground their arguments in Scripture and at least three historical Christian sources. The Goal: A $1,000 Excellence Award While the winner will be published in the Alberta Reformer journal, our team would like to attach a $1,000 cash prize to the award. This isn&#39;t just a &quot;thank you&quot;&mdash;it&rsquo;s a tangible investment that shows these students we value rigorous, courageous thought in the public square. Your support will directly reward a young Albertan for doing the hard work of applying historic Protestant theology to our current provincial challenges.
