Eight rescued dogs need expensive medical care to heal. &nbsp;One (Gigi) is a hospice dog in the rescue, and seven need the care before they can move into safe, loving homes 🐾 Your gift today helps cover urgent vet visits, tests, medications, surgery, and follow‑up care. At All About the Dogs Rescue, we step in for dogs at risk in crowded shelters, or from homes when the families cannot provide the care, and stay with them through recovery, training, and adoption. Every dollar on this form goes directly toward these eight dogs&rsquo; medical bills so they can finally get their second chance. ❤️ Chucky has a serious heart condition and is on multiple medications. &nbsp;He&#39;s seen a specialist and had tests. &nbsp;He&#39;s in congestive heart failure. &nbsp;He likely will need a pacemaker. &nbsp;Right now he is at risk of sudden death. Cocoa has a collapsing trachea. &nbsp;At 12 years old, he&#39;s on medications to manage it and still has a lot of pep. &nbsp;He needs regular vet visits and tests to chart his progress. Gigi is our hospice dog. &nbsp;She is 15 years old and has kidney disease and issues with her liver. &nbsp;She&#39;s on multiple medications and subcutaneous fluids, and continues to do well and enjoy life. Gus is battling kidney issues. &nbsp;He needs a scrotal ablation when he&#39;s neutered to deal with possible testicular cancer, and then needs heartworm treatment. Heather needs heartworm treatment. Sandy has a significant heart murmur and early valve disease. &nbsp;Following an echocardiogram, she&#39;s on multiple medications which she&#39;ll need to be on for the rest of her life. &nbsp;Thankfully up until now she isn&#39;t showing symptoms and is able to live a happy, active life. Sweet Anne is crippled due to luxating patellas in the knees of both of her hind legs. &nbsp;Her knees pop out of the sockets whenever she puts pressure on her back legs, and she cannot run - or even go on long walks. &nbsp;She needs surgery on both legs to correct the issue. &nbsp;She&#39;s just had a CT scan in preparation for that. Sylveon needs heartworm treatment. The cost of the above is likely close to double of the $20,000 for this fundraiser. &nbsp;We have gotten some donations previously, and will be applying for grants to cover the remaining cost. The bottom line is this - we absolutely cannot give these wonderful dogs the care they need without you as part of our team! &nbsp;Please donate as generously as you can. &nbsp;If you would like your donation to go to a specific dog, just let us know. UPDATE: We spoke with Sweet Anne&#39;s doctor today. &nbsp;The CT results show that, thankfully, she has virtually no malformation of her bones. &nbsp;That means that the surgery for her kneecaps will be pretty standard and he anticipates a good prognosis! &nbsp;With surgery, our girl should be able to run and play and go for the long walks she craves - at only two years old she&#39;ll have a long life of doing the things she loves and deserves to do - just being a dog! &lt;3 &nbsp;NOW - in order to get that done asap we are in desperate need of your help! &nbsp;Even if you can only donate a small amount, please do donate! &nbsp;Small donations add up! &nbsp;As of this writing, we have only $375 donated to this fundraiser, and we need to raise $10,000 minimum to cover her surgery, and finish covering the CT scan! &nbsp;If every person who sees this donates *something*, we will get there. &nbsp;Sweet Anne needs us. &nbsp;She deserves the chance to be a normal dog! &nbsp;We cannot help her without your help. &nbsp;Please become a part of Team Anne today by sending your donation. &nbsp; UPDATE: &nbsp;As of this writing, Sweet Anne had a CT scan last week. &nbsp;The cost of the CT scan, including a very generous rescue discount, is $1,960.54. &nbsp;As long as the results support it (we should have the results in a few days), we need to schedule surgery for her on both of her knees. &nbsp;She has bilateral luxating patellas - which means that both of her knees slip of of place when she puts pressure on her hind legs. &nbsp;As a result, this gorgeous, happy, friendly, lovable 3-year-old dog is crippled. &nbsp;In order to get this surgery done and allow her to spend her life running and playing, we need to raise $10,000 minimum. &nbsp;We are WAY short of that amount! &nbsp;Please donate to help us give Sweet Anne the life she deserves - being able to &quot;just be a dog&quot;, and do what dogs do, without limitation or pain! Sweet Anne was seen several weeks ago for an orthopedic consultation. &nbsp;She has bilateral luxating patellas (both knees pop out of place when she puts weight on her hind legs). &nbsp;Her doctor gives GREAT odds that the surgery will be helpful. &nbsp;Before it can be done, however, she needs a CT scan to make sure there are no bone abnormalities (malformations). &nbsp;That needs to be done as soon as possible and the cost is considerable - estimated $1979.50 low, $2775.34 high. &nbsp;As long as the CT scan results support the current prognosis, the cost of surgery for each knee will be estimated $5,547.89 low, $7,792.64 high Anne is a youngster, less than 3 years old. &nbsp;She copes with her disability, and is nothing but sweet and loving, but she deserves to run and play and go on long walks and hikes. &nbsp;She deserves to be an active young dog! &nbsp;She deserves to be able to run fast enough to keep up with her playmates! &nbsp;She deserves to walk without struggling. &nbsp;She deserves to be without pain. &nbsp;Sweet Anne deserves the chance to be a normal, active, dog - and with your help, we will give her that chance! We rescued Anne from the shelter when she was out of time because the shelter could not provide the care she needed. &nbsp;She&#39;d been found roaming, and they thought she&#39;d been hit by a car and had a broken pelvis. &nbsp;When we got her to the vet, we discovered her pelvis was just fine - it was her knees that were the problem and it was congenital. &nbsp;This is what happens when dogs are bred irresponsibly, folks! &nbsp; But let that sink in for a minute: &nbsp;Anne has lived this way for her *entire life*! &nbsp;Let&#39;s join together to change that reality for Sweet Anne. &nbsp;She deserves to live in the world and move like any other dog. &nbsp;Let&#39;s give her that chance! &lt;3 When you donate to AATDR, you can be assured that every penny you donate goes to care for the dog. &nbsp;We&#39;re all volunteers. &nbsp;Unlike the large national organizations, none of us draws a salary. &nbsp;And, because we&#39;re an approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, your donations are tax deductible.
