Sponsor a Qurʾān Student
Sponsor a Qurʾān StudentOne proficient woman in every Muslim home. One of Amana Institute’s goals is to help build homes rooted in the Qurʾān by ensuring that, as far as possible, every Muslim household has at least one woman who can recite the Qurʾān with proficiency and confidence.Women play a central role in shaping families and future generations. When a woman develops a strong relationship with the Qurʾān, that benefit often extends to her children, her family, and her community.Through Amana’s Qurʾān Scholarship Program, donors can sponsor women and girls who sincerely want to study the Qurʾān but cannot afford regular classes.Students work systematically through the entire Qurʾān, receiving individualized correction in tajwīd, pronunciation, fluency, and accuracy. Their goal is not simply to finish, but to reach itqān — genuine proficiency.Qualifying students work toward a formal ijāzah in Qurʾān recitation. This requires completing the Qurʾān from beginning to end from the muṣḥaf in Ḥafṣ ʿan ʿĀṣim through al-Shāṭibiyyah, with the teacher confirming the student’s accuracy and mastery before granting the ijāzah.Sponsorship:$85 sponsors one month of Qurʾān study$75 for instruction + $10 for program administration.$255 — 3 months$425 — 5 months$850 — 10-month scholarshipCustom amount — Qurʾān Scholarship FundTen months is the standard initial scholarship term, but every student progresses at a different pace. Some may require additional months before reaching the level required for ijāzah. Students are never rushed simply to meet a deadline. Our Vision: One proficient woman in every Muslim home. One generation teaching the next.Your sponsorship gives a student who may otherwise be unable to afford Qurʾān education the opportunity to study consistently, complete the Book of Allah under a teacher, and work toward lifelong proficiency in its recitation. Please Note: This campaign is not accepting Zakāh-eligible funds. Please contribute using ṣadaqah or other voluntary charitable funds only.
