Join Amelia Island Opera for the 2026 Bosland Young Artist Vocal Competition, featuring talented emerging singers in a live afternoon of classical vocal performance. 🎶 Competitors will perform before a distinguished panel of judges, including acclaimed soprano Amy Shoremount-Obra, with Dr. Dasom Kwon serving as the competition pianist. Audience members will have the opportunity to hear the next generation of vocal artists as they compete for awards, receive professional feedback, and gain valuable performance experience. 2026 Bosland Young Artist Vocal Competition

Join Amelia Island Opera for&nbsp;Sing-Along Messiah, a community celebration of Handel&rsquo;s beloved oratorio. 🎶 On November 29, 2026 experience the joy and majesty of George Frideric Handel&#39;s Messiah in a unique evening of music and community at the Amelia Plantation Chapel. This special Sing-Along Messiah invites audience members to become part of the performance by singing the beloved choruses alongside fellow music lovers. Whether you are a seasoned choral singer or simply enjoy the thrill of raising your voice in one of the world&#39;s most celebrated masterpieces, all are welcome.The evening will feature acclaimed mezzo-soprano Katherine Kincaid and tenor Edward Brennan, who will join Amelia Island Opera Co-Founders John Tibbetts and Robyn Lamp in performing the iconic solo movements that have inspired audiences for generations. Accompanist Arthur Bosarge will provide the evening&#39;s musical accompaniment, leading singers through Handel&#39;s timeless score.Bring your own score or simply come ready to sing and enjoy this uplifting musical tradition. From the stirring &quot;And the Glory of the Lord&quot; to the triumphant &quot;Hallelujah&quot; Chorus, this interactive performance celebrates the enduring power of great music to bring a community together.Prepare to sing, be in Doors open at 2:15 PM.
