American Friends of the Galilee Eco Center promotes environmental sustainability and community development in the Galilee region through education, eco-tourism, and conservation efforts, fostering a harmonious relationship between people and nature.

Beyond the Trees&nbsp; Help the Galilee Eco Center plant its first 1,000 trees in Israel&rsquo;s Upper Galilee, beginning immediately after the High Holidays. This New Year, help us put down new roots in Israel.Immediately after the High Holidays, the Galilee Eco Center will begin planting the first 1,000 trees across our 22-dunam regenerative agriculture campus in the Upper Galilee. These trees will restore the soil, increase biodiversity, provide food and shade, and help transform the land into a living center for environmental education, Jewish connection and community healing.Planting 1,000 trees requires more than saplings. We have an&nbsp;URGENT need for irrigation lines, planting tools, soil preparation and ongoing care. We will also be hosting Taglit groups and other volunteers who will help put these trees into the ground. Donations may be made in honor or memory of someone special.Start the New Year by planting something in Israel that will grow for generations. Plant roots. Restore the land. Build a legacy.
