American Heritage Girls Troop AL1720 empowers girls through faith-based programs, fostering leadership, service, and personal growth while instilling strong values and community involvement.

Hey AHG Families!! Unfortunately we had to cancel our campout this weekend due to inclement weather conditions! We hate it! Fortunately, the rain doesn’t start until Saturday… so… to make the most of it we are going to have a Family Bonfire at the Chelsea Community Church Fire Pit THIS FRIDAY 10/9 from 5:30pm-8:30pm ! We’ll still have our walking tacos for dinner! We’ll do fun skits, campfire songs, and a flag retirement ceremony! Whole family welcome! If you have any additional people you need to purchase dinner for you can use the zeffy link still! If you need a refund for walking taco dinner because you cannot attend- let Kelly Graham know! We still need a few signups to help with food, firewood, etc. (will be reimbursed by troop funds) I’ll put sign up in the comments below! Announcement: Our campout at Rickwood Caverns State Park is being rolled over to our Spring Campout, weekend of April 16-18. Your Cave Tour purchase will roll over to that campout. If for some reason you won’t be able to attend and need a refund for your cave tour tickets, please let Kelly Graham know!

🎉 It's Tea Time and You're Invited! 🎉 American Heritage Girls is a Christ-centered character and leadership development program for girls 6 to 18 years of age. AHG is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country. Our AHG Troop AL1720 is based out of Chelsea Community Church in Chelsea, AL. We are putting on a Charity Tea Party as a Fundraiser for our Troop! All the proceeds of this event will go back to our troop to help drive down cost for our families for our events such as Father Daughter Dance, Campouts, Mother Daughter Event, Badge Work etc. It will also help support our Community Service Projects as well as help us fill backpacks with Bibles, Prayer Journals, and other essentials for Two Feathers Ministry at Christmas time! Our Charity Tea is going to be a blast and you certainly don't want to miss out! Our Pioneer and Patriot level girls will be serving during this event and have been a part of the planning process. There will be door prizes and a silent auction to participate in! All the tables will be decorated by volunteers and we will have a prize for the best table! (If you are interested in being a table decorator, spots are limited, reach out to Alana Cool at (205) 577-3166 for details) Seats are limited so purchase your ticket(s) now and make sure to answer all dietary questions to secure your spot today!
