About Our Veterans and Affairs Rehabilitation ProgramThe American Legion Auxiliary Veterans and Affairs Rehabilitation program uses donations to provide personal care items for VA Hospital patients and to support events and activities led by our Department Hospital Representatives across all twelve VA Homes and Hospitals.Auxiliary units play a critical role in delivering programs and services that strengthen and improve the lives of veterans and their families. Each home and medical center has a dedicated Auxiliary Home Representative, but the needs continue to grow. Your support helps ensure no veteran is overlooked.VA&R gives members and units a meaningful way to contribute to the brave men and women who have served our country. The program varies by location—some homes rely on us for personal care items, while others depend on our support to fund daily activities and engagement opportunities for their residents.Your contribution directly enhances the quality of life for the veterans we serve. Support the Auxiliary Emergency Fund and help American Legion Auxiliary members recover from unexpected hardship.The AEF provides temporary emergency grants to eligible members who have suffered a significant financial setback caused by a natural disaster, loss of income, or another personal crisis.Donations make it possible for members in crisis to receive assistance with past-due housing costs, essential utilities, or urgent needs resulting from damage to their primary residence.
