Explore free-motion quilting with instructor Lori Kennedy 🧵 in this hands-on session. Learn how to move beyond marked lines, build confident stitches, and add personality to your quilts with simple, repeatable designs. Whether you&rsquo;re new to free-motion or refining your skills, you&rsquo;ll practice techniques step by step and connect with other ASG members who love to sew. Bring your curiosity, your questions, and be ready to stitch together new ideas. Price will include Class instruction, Kit, Lunch and Water. Feel free to bring other beverages but please have them in non-spillable closed containers. Remember to bring your sewing machine, cord, foot and sewing supplies for free-motion quilting. Extension cords will be provided. ✂️

Join fellow sewists at our 2026 Annual Meeting 🧵 to connect, learn, and celebrate a year of sewing together. We&rsquo;ll share chapter updates, highlight community service projects, and look ahead to new ways of advancing sewing as both an art and a practical life skill. Members will meet and vote for their CAB Board Members. Our Guest Speakers will be Sammi and Jen from Embroidery Library and Urban Threads. The owners and product designers will be showing many new ideas. &nbsp;We will also be displaying several Kinusaiga Fabric Art projects, you can try it out and look for upcoming education.&nbsp; Don&#39;t forget to bring fabric and notions for our fabric swap and find new treasures and ideas to take home.Get tickets for door prizes if you are wearing a name tag, wear or bring something you made and if you are wearing or bring something that is patriotic themed for our 250th American Celebration. Get your creative thought flowing with our first sewing challenge that was in the last newsletter. A quilt on a stick with the patriotic theme. Lots of good ideas from the state fair! Special Prizes will be awarded Expect a great lunch, good conversation, inspiration, and practical ideas you can take back to your own sewing table. Please register so we can plan meals, materials and seating for everyone. ✂️
