The Amigo Club of Ashland fosters cultural exchange and friendship between Ashland, OR, and Guanajuato, Mexico, focusing on educational opportunities and community engagement through events and programs that celebrate this international partnership. 

Celebrate culture, community, and international friendship at - Guanajuato Nights 2026 &ndash; Vivan Los Estudiantes!&nbsp;on&nbsp;Saturday, May 9, from 5:30&ndash;10:00 pm at SOU&rsquo;s Stevenson Union - Rogue River Room This fundraising event honors the heart of the Ashland&ndash;Guanajuato sister‑city relationship: educational exchange and the students who bring it to life. More than twenty visiting students and faculty from Southern Oregon University and the University of Guanajuato will join us, fresh from their work in the Global Innovation Scholars program. Guests will enjoy a sumptuous buffet, local wine and beer, a lively silent auction, and a joyful finale of&nbsp;music and dancing.
