AJL strives to reduce the homeless pet population through rescue, outreach, and education.  We are dedicated to saving animals in need, advocating for their rights, promoting responsible pet ownership, and creating a compassionate community for all.

Thank you for supporting our mission to reduce the homeless pet population through rescue, outreach, and education. Over the last 11 years, we have rescued over 3200 animals, TNR&#39;d nearly 2700 community cats, and provided more than 1500 microchips to owned pets. Your contribution will help us help even more cats &amp; dogs in 2026!

11th Anniversary Brunch & Mimosas

AJL&#39;s 11th Anniversary Auction 🐾&nbsp; raises funds to help stray and abandoned animals get the second chance they deserve. Each bid supports rescue efforts, vet care, and safe, loving foster and forever homes. By taking part, you&rsquo;re also backing community outreach &amp; TNR, transport to Minnesota rescue partners, and local adoptions. Did you know that we receive on average over 100 intake requests for animals every month? Knowing that we can count on your ongoing monthly support allows us to confidently step up for one more medical case, get one more community cat spayed/neutered, provide one more bag of food to a foster parent, buy one more month of flea/heartworm prevention, get one more cat or dog ready for transport, or get one more owned pet microchipped so they can make their way home if lost.&nbsp;Your generosity gets us closer to saying &quot;YES&quot; for one more dog or cat in need every single month.&nbsp; A philanthropic donor has committed to matching every monthly donation pledged during this campaign&nbsp;for the rest of the year.
