Animal Rescue & Outreach Organization (AROO)

LXCL:AROO is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting the St. Mary’s County Animal Shelter and the animals in its care. Our mission is simple: provide funding and hands-on help for the needs that fall outside the St. Mary's County budget, so shelter animals can live with less stress and become happier, healthier, and more adoptable.

Yappy Hour brings people and pups together to support AROO’s work rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need 🐾. Enjoy a relaxed outing, meet (former) adoptable dogs, and connect with others who care about giving animals a second chance. Your support helps provide safe shelter, medical care, and loving futures for homeless pets. Bring a friend (two or four legged) and be part of our rescue community 🐶.
