Our mission

Improving the quality of life for all impacted by aphasia by overcoming communication barriers at home and in our communities.

Aphasia (uh-fay’-zhuh) n. A language disorder that impacts conversational interaction (talking and understanding) as well as the ability to read and write. Often caused by stroke, aphasia does not affect intellect.

For over 20 years, we have empowered individuals with aphasia to regain communication and confidence to reconnect and participate in life.
