American Legion Posts and other sponsors may use this form to pay a sponsorship for Arizona Boys State. “Sponsorship” is defined as money benefiting a particular student (or a to-be-identified student from a particular high school). If you wish to make a general donation to Boys State (i.e., money not tied to a particular student), please use the general donation form instead (click here). The total cost of Arizona Boys State is approximately $850 per student. This per-student cost is typically split as follows: (1) a tuition fee of $300 paid by the student/parent, (2) a sponsorship of $425 from the American Legion Post or other sponsor, and (3) the remaining $125 provided by The American Legion Department of Arizona and other donors. Some Posts/sponsors go above and beyond by paying, in addition to the $425 sponsorship amount, the student's tuition fee ($725 total) or full cost of attendance ($850). The extra generosity of these Posts/sponsors allows other funding to be directed toward additional students, expanding Arizona Boys State's reach and impact.Please note that, on the next screen, the Zeffy payment form will ask whether you would like to contribute an additional amount to the platform to keep Zeffy free for nonprofits. This contribution is entirely optional. You may opt out by selecting “Other” on the drop-down menu and entering “0” as the contribution amount. If you would prefer to make a payment by check, you may make your check payable to Arizona Boys State and mail it to The American Legion Department of Arizona, 4701 N. 19th Avenue, Suite 200, Phoenix, AZ 85015.
