Acoustic Guitar Classes for Kids & Teens (Ages 8-16)Discover the joy of playing acoustic guitar with ART LAB DCI!Learning guitar is more than memorizing chords - it’s about discovering music, building confidence, expressing yourself, and experiencing the excitement of creating something together.Our program welcomes children and teens ages 8-16, from complete beginners to students who already have some playing experience.Step by step, students will learn basic chords, chord changes, rhythm, strumming patterns, proper hand position, playing technique, and how to play songs they know and enjoy.Classes are held in a small and supportive group, giving every student the opportunity to learn at their own pace, ask questions, practice together, and feel proud of their progress.Classes take place every Tuesday at 6:00 PM.And the experience doesn’t stop in the classroom.Students will have opportunities to play together as a group and perform at ART LAB DCI events and community events, giving them real performance experience, helping them overcome stage nerves, build confidence, support one another, and experience the excitement of performing for a real audience.For some children, it may begin with their very first chord.And one day, that same child may be standing on stage, guitar in hand, playing together with their group. 🎸Our goal is to create a musical journey filled with creativity, friendship, confidence, teamwork, and unforgettable experiences - skills and memories they can carry with them for years to come.

The Art Pause - Adult Art Evenings is your midweek creative escape - a relaxing evening filled with painting, warm conversation, soft music, and light refreshments.Each week, we explore a new artistic theme and create something beautiful together in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.No previous art experience is needed, and all materials are provided. Just bring yourself, slow down for a little while, enjoy the creative process, and take home your own finished artwork.Come for the art, stay for the atmosphere - and give yourself a little pause in the middle of a busy week.
