ALAS is an independent not-for-profit organization run and operated by a group of volunteers. All of ALAS’ volunteers generously donate their time and expertise to help provide free legal information to creators in Ontario. In order to continue to operate, ALAS is entirely dependent on donations from its supporters as well as the creators whom we assist.ALAS appreciates any and all support, and while we suggest a minimum donation of $20 from every visitor to our Legal Clinic (offered by appointment on Tuesdays and Thursdays), each donation, regardless of the amount, will go a long way towards assisting ALAS with the operational costs and expenses associated with continuing to offer our services.
