Join us for Coffee &amp; Conversation at&nbsp;Bee Gum Point Preserve, protected by the Indian River Land Trust. Purchased in 2011, this 111-acre lagoon-front preserve protects one of the last remaining wetlands on the barrier island and includes a mile of Indian River Lagoon shoreline. Located along the Atlantic Flyway, the property provides critical habitat for migrating birds and is managed as a bird sanctuary and conservation research site. This beautiful preserve is rarely open to the public, making this a unique opportunity to experience it firsthand. Guests are invited to enjoy coffee and conversation while learning more about the conservation work protecting our lagoon. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for those who would like to explore the trail.

The new Bank of America Study of Philanthropy, the tenth in our series of reports on giving by wealthy households in the United States, begun in 2006, illuminates many expressions of generosity by affluent Americans. Our presentation will explore what motivates affluent donors to give and stop giving, and which organizations affluent Americans currently support.
