The Outlaws are a community based, non-profit, all gender flat track roller derby league with both adult and juniors teams. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for everyone who is interested in this exciting and inclusive sport, starting at 7 years old! As a passionate and dedicated team, we strive to compete at the highest level while fostering a safe and inclusive environment and promoting positive community engagement with the sport of roller derby.Roller derby is an exhilarating and fast-paced sport that requires significant resources to operate efficiently. Our team incurs various expenses related to venue rental, insurance, equipment maintenance, travel, and promotion. Funds raised allow us to offer scholarships, loaner skate gear, and subsidized jerseys and travel expenses, making this wonderful sport more accessible to more people. Like any team sport, roller derby positively impacts adults and youth alike as a fun way to exercise, build community, and learn new skills -- both on skates and off by joining the various committees that facilitate the league. Sports are incredibly beneficial to mental health, and roller derby is an alternative sport that brings these endorphin-releasing benefits to kids who might not like the typical sports offered.
