After 4&nbsp;weeks, you will know the basics of Ableton Live to:<ul fr-original-style="text-align: start;" style="text-align: start; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Set up and navigate projects in Ableton Live</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Write, record, and arrange vocal and digital (MIDI) instrumental parts</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Mix and export files for sharing</li></ul>Workshop Goals<ul fr-original-style="text-align: start;" style="text-align: start; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">At least 1 finished track</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Find community with like-minded musicians</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Build confidence in sharing your work in a group setting</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Learn what you need to make your own recording setup at home</li></ul>No experience needed!Laptops and headphones provided (personal gear welcome).Optional: bring a notebook for ideas and notes. Taught by:&nbsp; RJ Wilks is a musician, songwriter, producer, audio engineer, BAMP Studio Manager, and Teaching Artist that has been interested in making music since they were a kid, from playing drums in the middle school jazz band to producing and performing ambient and experimental electronic music, to writing songs and performing in a country/bluegrass/folk band, RJ has explored many corners of music making! They&#39;re excited to demystify Ableton and can&#39;t wait to meet you all! Diana L&oacute;pez is a songwriter, music producer and Teaching Artist who loves working with Ableton Live. Her musical path kicked off as a child when she became curious about Piano. Over the years she&#39;s studied music in various topics such as piano, singing, theory, audio production and recording, and has explored performing live in various groups. Inspired by her own journey, she is passionate about helping students feel confident making music, whether they&rsquo;re just starting out or building their skills.
