Cougar Legacy Foundation for BC Alumni
Once a Cougar. Always a Cougar. The experiences that shaped us did not happen in just one place. They happened under Friday night lights and beneath gymnasium scoreboards. In classrooms, band rooms, workshops and rehearsal spaces. On fields, courts and sidelines. In clubs, organizations and hallways. On buses headed to competitions, at pep rallies, during performances, and in ordinary moments with people who became anything but ordinary to us.They happened because of teachers, coaches, advisors, administrators, staff members, teammates, classmates, friends, volunteers and families who invested in us while we were still figuring out who we would become. Every Cougar has a story. And every one of those stories is part of the legacy of Bullitt Central High School. Today, we have an opportunity to preserve those stories while investing in the generations creating new ones. The Bullitt Central Youth Football & Cheer Association is proud to establish the Bullitt Central Alumni Foundation - a community created to reconnect alumni, preserve the history and traditions of Bullitt Central, honor those who came before us, and invest in the students and young people who will carry the Cougar name forward. Whether your memories were made on a field, in a classroom, on a stage, in the stands, in a workshop, in a club, or simply walking the halls with people you still call friends today, you are part of this story. It is with great pride that we invite you to become part of the inaugural 2026-2027 Bullitt Central Alumni Foundation. Our goal is bigger than any one team, activity, graduating class, or generation. We want to create a lasting connection between the people who built Bullitt Central's history and those who are writing its next chapter. Through the Foundation, we hope to support opportunities, programs, scholarships, facilities, experiences, traditions, and preservation efforts that strengthen the entire Cougar community. Years from now, future generations should know not only what Bullitt Central accomplished, but who cared enough to preserve it, support it, and carry it forward. And as we build for the future, we also believe it is important to remember those who helped build the Cougar tradition before us. Some of the people who made Bullitt Central special are no longer here to stand beside us. They were students, classmates, teachers, coaches, administrators, staff members, volunteers, parents, supporters and friends. Their impact did not end when they left the field, classroom, stage, hallway, or campus.Through the Cougar Legacy Memorial Membership, families and friends may permanently honor a Cougar who has passed and ensure that their name and story remain part of the tradition they helped create. Because leaving a legacy is not only about what we build next. It is also about remembering who helped bring us here.
