Welcome to Bedford Destination Imagination Registration!We are excited to welcome students and families to another season of Destination Imagination (DI)—a program filled with creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and fun. We look forward to an amazing year of innovative challenges and unforgettable experiences!Registration FeesRegular Registration (July 1–September 30): $195 per studentRegistration closes on September 30.Registration InstructionsA separate registration ticket must be completed for each student being registered.Payment is required at the time of registration.Teams will be formed after registration closes, and families will be notified of team placements in the fall.Season TimelineThe DI season typically runs from November through March.Teams that advance through tournament competition may continue participating through May, including state, affiliate, and potentially global-level events.Team Placement InformationTo help create balanced and successful teams, please review the following guidelines:Students may request placement with one friend.Additional placement requests can only be accommodated when a parent or caregiver volunteers to serve as a Team Manager.Team placement depends on the number of available volunteer Team Managers.Team Managers NeededTeam Managers are essential to the success of our program. We can only form as many teams as we have volunteers to support them.Volunteering as a Team Manager is one of the best ways to help ensure team placement for interested students. While the role may sound intimidating, Bedford Creativity provides training, resources, and support throughout the season.Remember:Team Managers do not solve the challenge for the team.Students are responsible for generating and implementing their own ideas.Team Managers guide the process, help keep meetings organized, and encourage teamwork and creative thinking.Placement PriorityIf there are more registered students than available team spaces, priority placement will be given to:Students returning to existing teams.Students whose parent or caregiver is volunteering as a Team Manager.Thank you for supporting creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and innovation in our community.
