Your DONATION to the BEN FRANKLIN SOCIETY GENERAL FUND supports:1) All ongoing Society Community Service Projects;2) Annual Fixed Operating Costs such as: liability insurance, website hosting, software licensing, social media marketing and printed materials;3) Board-approved Contract Services for assistance such as: SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and the GOOGLE Nonprofit Ad Grant Program.All Society Administrative Staff are Volunteers.We HAVE NO Compensated Personnel, Salaries or Contracted Staff whatsoever.Similarly, our Board of Directors volunteer their services.Annually, we file an IRS FORM 990-N certifying the Society has Annual Gross Receipts of less than $50,000.All DONATIONS are dispensed with Board Approval and are used to augment Society Revenues from Annual Membership Dues and year-round Philly in the Woods Dining and Entertainment Events.The Society NO LONGER pursues Grants, but has done so in the past, from such sources as: United Way, Franklin County TDA (Tourism Development Authority) and Novozymes.This FUND was initiated in response to Society Membership requests for an ONLINE DONATION mechanism.
