The Blue Tiger Athletics Club was created in 2015 by a group of proud and loyal supporters of Lincoln University with the goal of helping the university grow by creating scholarship opportunities and improving the student experience. Since its creation, the organization has raised over $500,000 for Lincoln University and has helped grow enrollment through providing financial support to Blue Tiger student-athletes. Each of Lincoln's athletic programs have seen their roster sizes grow thanks to the backing of the BTAC, allowing more students the opportunity to receive a valuable college education while continuing to reach their athletic goals.Thanks to the generosity of the members of the Blue Tiger Athletics Club, which have numbered more than 500 in recent years, Lincoln University has been able to increase its scholarship offerings, maintain a state-of-the-art weight room, raise its profile both locally and nationally, and become more competitive against some of the best NCAA Division II programs in the country. While many colleges and universities across the nation remain stagnant with the number of their athletic programs or have even eliminated sports teams, the BTAC's continual and generous support allowed Lincoln University to add three new sports in 2023-24 - Baseball, Men's Soccer and Women's Soccer - which in turn has allowed approximately 100 more students the chance to received a college degree.The BTAC was started by a group of individuals ranging from alumni of Lincoln University to members of the Jefferson City community who all had a common passion: they loved LU and wanted it to continue to grow. Towards that end, they have annually hosted a Casino Night, an evening of casino-style gaming, drinks, food, auctions and prizes. The group regularly is present at Lincoln's home events, and annually organizes multiple trips to cheer on the Blue Tigers at select away games. The Blue Tiger Athletics Club also hosts tailgate parties during football season and a hospitality room during basketball season, serving food, beer, water and soda. All of these items are donated, as every dollar raised by the BTAC goes directly towards financially supporting Lincoln's students and athletic programs.As a member of the Blue Tiger Athletics Club, you will be a part of the only fundraising organization for the Lincoln University Department of Athletics that is sanctioned by the university. Hospitality Suites open an hour before tip-off of a doubleheader, and is open prior to the tip-offs and at halftimes of the women’s and men’s games. The Blue Tiger Athletics Club also offers $250 Hospitality Suite sponsorships for standalone, (non-doubleheader) games.
