Performed in two parts, November 13–22, this intimate production invites audiences into a coastal Oregon town where unforgettable characters navigate everyday life, shared heritage, and the extraordinary ways a community comes together. Developed over nearly a decade by Platt and Jane Unger (founding Artistic Director Emerita of Portland’s Profile Theatre), Mink River marks Book-It's second show in its newest chapter with its intentionally nimble, artist-driven model. This special sneak peek into Book-It’s creative process features a cast of 16 actors with scripts in hand. Playing over 30 different characters, the actors' talents are supported by scenic, lighting, costumes, sound, and choreographed movement.Thank you for being here. We couldn’t do it without you!
