Canadian Federation of University Women - Burlington

The Canadian Federation of University Women - Burlington empowers women through education, advocacy, and community engagement. They promote human rights and justice while supporting scholarships for young women to foster lifelong learning.

Join CFUW Burlington in partnership with Different Drummer Books, for an evening with Olympian and mental health advocate Clara Hughes as she launches Learning to Breathe. Hear Clara reflect on her journey, resilience, and the realities behind high performance and public success. This event supports our mission to advance women&rsquo;s education, human rights, and justice. Engage in thoughtful conversation, connect with others committed to lifelong learning, and leave with new perspectives to carry into your own life and community. This virtual event will be livestreamed from Port Nelson United Church in Burlington, ON. You can also add a donation to support ongoing educational scholarships for young women supplied by Canadian Federation of University Women -Burlington Scholarship Foundation. We appreciate all donations. Additional donations of 50$ and greater will be eligible for income tax receipts.
